Bess is an accomplished entrepreneur and founder with a strong background in sales leadership and strategic project management. With a proven track record of achieving revenue goals and scaling organizations, she specializes in food-related CPG products and SaaS-based B2B enterprise sales.
Her expertise encompasses product launch strategy and execution, as well as process planning that consistently delivers ROI. Bess has a deep understanding of the entire process of bringing new products to market, including product formulation, manufacturing, consumer insights, and trend research. She is passionate about growing businesses and enhancing client experiences, adept at negotiating deals that create a positive impact on both employees and customers.
Bess spent eight years at Seamless/Grubhub, contributing to its growth from a startup to a publicly traded company. She then launched two CPG brands, Bennett’s Butter and Bessties, as well as a consumer goods company, Beddi Baby. Bess successfully sold Bessties.
As a founder, I have been involved in every aspect of running and growing a successful business—from janitor to CFO. The dynamic nature of the CPG food industry offers a unique opportunity to drive meaningful change in how consumers engage with food products. I spent eight years at Seamless/Grubhub leading the B2B sales team, which laid the foundation for my career in sales. Since then, I have launched two CPG brands, including the recent sale of Bessties. This journey has equipped me with a diverse skill set in the CPG space, focusing on go-to-market strategies, branding, production optimization, and revenue and channel planning. Launching these brands has given me a deep understanding of the CPG industry from the brand perspective, allowing me to wear many hats.
